Southwest Missouri known for it Ozarks hills, numerous lakes and rivers, and Branson entertainment.  The Springfield area has a vast array of activites such as outdoor activities, colleges, restaurants, and 5 area lakes make the Ozarks truly a great place to live and raise a family.

Springfield located on the I-44 corridor is the heart of Southwest Missouri within 1 hour of several area attractions.  West of Springfield, Joplin Missouri home of the Joplin Regional Stockyards and Missouri Southern College.  North of Springfield offers beautiful scenery of the two major lakes, Stockon and Pomme D Terre, the adventures of Fantastic Caverns, and the excitement of two speedways, Bolivar Speedway and Lucas Oils Speedway located in Hermitage.  East of Springfield also offers a speedway located in Lebanon, Missouri.  There are rivers to float such as the Niaguana , wineries near the Rolla area.  Lets not for get the areas south of Springfield, BRANSON, home of world class entertainment.  A half hour drive to the Branson area to spend the day at the lake, or at Silver Dollar City,  and then catch a music show on the famous Highway 76 Strip with dinner at one of the top notch restaurants. 

 I personally love this area on all it has to offer but if you are an avid outdoorsman, Southwest Missouri offer a multitude of activites in the wild outdoors including fishing, boating, camping, and some of the greatest hunting available. 

One of the biggest draws to Springfield is Bass Pro Shops National Headquarters and the Wonders of Wildlife Museum and Aquarium.  This is by far an outdoorsman's paradise (ask my wife, she refers it as my 2nd home).
